As one of the many gamers, I can see that these two titles have held so many memories in the minds of fans. However, all the children of the 80s and 90s are now adults, and they don’t have much time to fully enjoy video games even on weekends. What if there was a title that players could take with them wherever they go?
The game was originally released on PC and became a hit on Steam. Due to the high popularity and high demand of Hero Siege fans, the developer has introduced a pocket version for the players. Hero Siege: Pocket Edition is a hack ‘n’ slash game with roguelike and RPG elements that provide hours of entertainment.
HISTORY
Deep in Tarethiel, a group of monks have awakened an evil demon. According to legend, Satan rises from hell to destroy and rule the world. The country needs heroes now! Players become heroes on a journey to save humanity from extinction. They have to fight with various pixelated creatures in different locations and collect powerful loot.
A long journey awaits you to explore. Hero Siege: Pocket Edition cannot let you down because it has multiple levels and countless enemies and numerous achievements.
CHARACTERISTICS
Up to 17 customizable character categories
Hero Siege: Pocket Edition is proud to introduce players to 17 different playable classes. Each class has two skill trees with a wide variety of different builds and options. From melee to ranged, scientist to sorcerer, Hero Siege: Pocket Edition has everything you need. To find out which class suits players best, they are encouraged to try out as many classes as they like.
If you play as one of the melee characters, you have a higher chance of taking damage, but with high damage per second. On the other hand, ranged classes are weaker than melee, but they give you more protection.
Players can’t help but collect portraits, hats and minions to make their character stand out, among other things. There are more than 150 different hats to choose from, such as Robin Hood hat, unicorn horn, Halloween pumpkin, etc. Minions can help you fight monsters, you can collect them and call them whatever you want. There are two types of minions: melee minions and ranged minions.
Seven fun shows and randomly generated levels
There are seven screens in total with two bonus screens, each screen has six levels, and the last one always contains a boss. The laws can be listed below:
- Act One: Tarethiel Forests
- Scene 2: Glacial tundra
- Act 3: The Deserts of Mos’ Arathim
- Scene 4: Upland caves
- Scene 5: The Karponian plains
- Act 6: Sacred Grounds
- Type 7: Cucumber
The two bonus shows are Sheeponia and Fallen Inoya.
Each act has different enemies, the higher the settings and levels, the stronger the monsters and bosses. Don’t worry if it seems difficult, there is a tutorial and a guide to help you get used to the game.
By defeating the Act 6 boss, players can unlock Nightmare, Hell, and Hell modes.
Over 170 modified relics
By defeating bosses, opening chests, or during battle, players can earn a distinctive relic. Each relic gives you additional effects or abilities. Players can only have one active relic and 30 passive relics at a time. Unfortunately, when you die, all remains are removed. The residue types are listed below:
- On Track: These relics orbit around the character and target an enemy that gets too close or creates a defensive effect.
- Follow: Follow the player and attack enemies.
- Actives: They are placed under the health/mana bar, different active relics have different abilities and abilities for villains.
- On Strike or Passive: These relics are activated by your attacks, each with its own formula for cooldown, activation, and damage.
- Passive Stats or Mods: These increase one or more stats for as long as you live.
Multiplayer mode
It’s really unique that in multiplayer you can’t use your current character and you have to create a new one. Players can create eighteen locations in multiplayer and single player modes. Each game has up to four players.
Elements
- Hero Siege: Pocket Edition currently has seven elements. Each has its own special effect, but the default effects are Physical and Magic.
- Wind: Physical and provides speed of movement.
- Cold: Physical and prevents enemies from slowing down and attacking.
- Fire: Both physical and magical, applies to enemies on fire.
- Poison: Magic and stack enemies.
- Lightning Bolt: Magic and create lightning bolts that bounce between enemies when players attack.
Trade and currency
If the player has the item you are looking for, Hero Siege: Pocket Edition has a supported trading system. Each player must approve twice when placing their item. Remember to follow the trading process as someone may try to scam you.
The game has two main currencies, rubies and jade ore. Rubies can be dropped by villains, bosses or chests, while jade ore can be used for trade.
Unlimited Financial Availability
To be honest, this is the best feature because if some of you are too lazy to go into battle or open the chests, you can buy whatever you want without worry.
VISUAL AND SOUND GRAPHICS QUALITY
Graphics
The graphics are crisp, with cute, pixelated characters and backgrounds. I’m not a big fan of spiders, but in Hero Siege: Pocket Edition they don’t scare me at all. The frame rate is uniform and the controller is easy to use.
Music
I don’t think the game’s soundtrack is too special to discuss. Players can hear the sound of their weapons beating, as well as the sound of monsters when attacked.
