VALORANT APK is a first-person shooter developed by Riot Games. Since their release on the Windows operating system, they have received a lot of praise from the FPS gaming community. Therefore, they decided to bring the game to the mobile platform and release it in 2022.

Background
VALORANT is a novelty in FPS games. Riot Games offered players a breathtaking shooter in a futuristic world. In 2039, Earth experienced an event known as the First Light, which produced a mysterious substance called Radiant One. There are people who can fuse radiative matter and have mutant abilities. That’s when Kingdom Corporation discovered Radiant’s almost endless mining potential and became its exclusive distributor. The world began to change from human perception to science, technology and politics.
In response to this event, a secret organization called the Valorant Protocol was formed. Brimstone and Viper are the founders of the organization. They recruit people with mutated abilities or provide scientific equipment that Radiant combines to fight.
Some mysterious packages carried by an unknown group distort reality. The organization also could not explain this phenomenon. When they took out the package, they noticed that the strange group was made up of people who looked exactly like them. In other words, the gameplay is a battle between agents and their “clone versions” to prevent Spike Block from causing a global tragedy.
Game
The game is compared to a perfect combination of two Counter-Striker games: Global Offensive and Over watch. VALORANT competes in a 5vs5 format. Basically, players are divided into two groups, attackers and defenders. The basic task of the attacking team is to place and protect the spike until it explodes or destroys all the defenders. Defenders have the opposite task of preventing the enemy from placing a Spike or destroying the entire attacking group.
The game usually has 13 rounds. The sides switch sides in round 12 and whoever gets to 13 first is the winner. In competition mode, when two teams are tied at 12-12, they must play overtime. The game ends when either team has a two-point lead.
What sets this game apart are the agents with their different skills and roles. And players need to have accurate targeting skills and good teamwork with teammates to win.
Agents
All agents have different skills depending on the role. The game currently has 18 agents in four main roles: Duelist, Controller, Initiator and Sentinel.
- The Duelist team consists of Jett, Reyna, Phoenix, Raze, Yoru and new agent Neon. They all have the abilities of a novice fighter, including flying, sailing, flashing… The duelist’s job is to start the fight and refuel the bomb bay. This is a role that sometimes requires “selfish” actions, such as rushing to bomb sites without knowledge.
- The air traffic control team includes Omen, Viper, Brimstone and Astra. These are agents that are adept at blocking the view of the enemy and helping the entry guard to enter the premises safely. This position can be considered the brains of the team and has a big impact on the round. Because if you just use the wrong smoke, it’s likely to give your enemy an easy victory lap.
- The starting team consists of Skye, Sova, Breach and KAY/O. This group is considered an intelligence unit tasked with finding information for the team. Their abilities can detect or stun enemies, making it easier to take out enemies.
- Ceramic Sentinel has Sage, Cypher, Killjoy and Chamber. They are considered an effective support unit to capture “ambushes” and prevent the enemy from rushing the bomb site. As for the attackers, most of them become an “ambush position” because their skills are not effective when they go with the team, especially Cypher.
Cards
So far, VALORANT only has 6 cards. Unlike CS: GO, you can’t choose which card to play, it appears randomly. The first map is Fracture, where top secret research has been spatially divided due to a failed radiant settlement.
Next up is Breeze, whose climate is cool with the surrounding ruins and sea. This is the largest map in the game, so keep an eye on the back as enemies can be anywhere. Next is the Icebox, an arctic battlefield covered in metal. And some other cards are Bind, Ascent, and Haven. When you ask me about the most annoying map I think of Breeze because the map is very large and difficult to control in all places.
Skin
As for the game skin, I really appreciate the developer’s creativity. They keep releasing beautiful skins. Sure, to own weapon skins you have to spend money to buy them, but they’re all middle-class and anyone can own them.
Instead of opening a Riot Games chest like in CS: GO, players can check their “luck” in the shop and night market. Objects are displayed completely randomly. The store will distribute 4 random skins every 24 hours. The night market takes place every 2 months and distributes 6 skins with random discounts.
Ground
The game contains 5 basic modes: Unranked, Competitive, Spike Rush, Deathmatch and Custom. Unranked and competitive modes are basically the same, the first team to win 13 rounds wins.
However, Unrated does not calculate the placement points suitable for training and entertainment, especially without overtime.
Spike Rush and Deathmatch are two quick game modes to warm you up. Additionally, there are sometimes alternate modes, such as Replica, Snowball Fight, and Escalation.
Graphics
The graphics have changed a lot since the game was released. Character creation and skill effects are much better. Makes you feel like you are in an anime fight. Also, a big plus is that the game’s graphics are very light, allowing devices with mid-range configurations to play smoothly. If you rate on a 10-point scale, the game’s graphics are 7/10.
